Job Description

Software Engineer in Test / Test Automation Software Engineer – C++ London or home based to £50Kish + bonus, pension and health

You will be working for one of the UKs foremost Graphics / AI technology companies, automating their complex tools and improving their automated testing system.

As a Test Automation Engineer and, as part of an established team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the automated testing of their tools to ensure product quality and robustness, and learn how to apply this knowledge to improve the performance and reliability of deliverables.

As part of your job, you will:

• Develop and maintain their automated testing system
• Oversee its operation and performance
• Gather and present metrics regarding test results
• Work closely with other tools members to ensure that the entire software stack
is solid and reliable

Your skills should include

• Some proven work experience with automated testing for regression and
performance profiling purposes
• Experience with creating testing plans
• Experience running tests in a Continuous Integration framework (Jenkins, Travis
• Excellent scripting programming skills (Python, Perl, Bash)
• Some C/C++ programming experience

You will have the option to be primarily home based (in the office 2 or 3 times a month) or to work in a more regular office / home pattern.
