Job Description

The Global Demand Planner and Business Analyst can have the choice of working in Cumbria or Buckinghamshire and will be responsible for providing information to all functions across the business on a global basis which will improve decision making and business performance, particularly ecommerce sales growth and profitability, optimum inventory levels across global warehouses, working capital efficiency, OTIF customer deliveries and market intelligence.

The Global Demand Planner and Business Analyst will be highly skilled in the collection and interpretation of data from multiple sources to generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and plans. Sources of data will include, but isn’t limited to, new product roadmap, sales forecasts (APO), customer and channel promotions, POS data, and key account plans to generate an operational demand plan forecast, which will assist with manufacturing capacity loading, scheduling, and purchasing planning including Far Eastern finished product forecasting.

This Global Demand Planner and Business Analyst will facilitate a monthly planning process that coordinates forecast inputs across sales, channel, customer service, product management, finance, global regions, and other key stakeholders in the business. The role is also accountable for developing, managing, and executing processes and system data integrity to balance supply and demand to deliver upon inventory and service level goals.

A key requirement will be to Implement, lead and develop the integration of the SAP APO tool into the business, being the key project owner and thereafter utilising the tools (demand planning, supply network planning and global availability to promise modules) to full effect to drive continuous improvement in these key areas.

This role will work closely with sales, customer service, marketing, finance, and operations (across global regions) and will report directly to the Operations Director with a dotted line to the General Manager.

The successful candidate will have bachelor’s degree in statistics economics, supply chain management, business, or related fields and able to work in Cumbria or Buckinghamshire.
