You will join a fast-growing, dynamic games studio to work on cutting edge technology and exciting new games for PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Series X and PC. You will take ownership and responsibility for developing features, work with the wider team on planning and delivery and share a passion for games. Although we pride ourselves on our technical excellence, we are a creative bunch, actively generating ideas and bringing our collective skills, experiences, and storytelling to our innovative creative process.
Creating high quality in-game sequences for an upcoming major AAA sports title.
Using our in-house motion capture setup to get the best character performances.
Working with the Art Director and art team to deliver the best visual and narrative experience.
Share knowledge and problem-solve
At least 3 years experience working in the animation industry or have shipped at least one AAA title as a Cinematic Animator
Must have a clear show reel proving a specialist level of skill and detailing specifically what you worked on.
Experience working with Motion Capture.
Experience working with game engine cinematic tools such as Unity or Unreal.
Extensive knowledge of animation tools and workflows in Maya.
A deep and intuitive understanding of cinematography, composition and camera work.
Able to work with the Art Director to create cinematic sequences, in game cameras and action.
Able to use their initiative to new create sequences and improve existing ones.
Able to demonstrate proficient technical knowledge of game engine animation systems.
Useful to have:
Photographic or film-making experience.
Rigging or technical art experience
Mocap clean-up experience
Knowledge of real time lighting and rendering
Knowledge of editing
