Job Description

HPC Software Engineers – C++, HPC, AI / ML
London – c£65K + benefits, including permanent flexi home / office working (1 day a week in the office) and great coffee !

Working for a company who are renowned leaders in HPC and AI / ML Processor development.

I’m looking for capable Software Engineers with 2 years+ C++ and Linux development, ideally having worked on computationally intensive applications, to work on a mix of product development and European research (Horizon) projects in the HPC and AI / ML acceleration workspace.

Do you have a keen interest in the future of computer architecture and its application to the most challenging use cases?

Are you a capable Software Engineer who is happy to work in a technically challenging environment, on research projects and high performance product development, working closely with engineers, scientists and mathematicians to solve a range of complex scientific and engineering problems?

Do you enjoy coding in a variety of languages on multiple platforms, where your ability in high and low level code optimisation will be stretched to its limits?

If the answer to these questions is yes, then this is an opportunity you should certainly be interested in!

You will need experience in most of the following:

Object oriented programming, ideally with strong C++
Experience in parallel programming (OpenMP / MPI etc) for high speed networking, video, cryptography etc
Linux software development
An algorithmic or mathematical ability

Some experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

Compiler development
Digital hardware design (e.g. Verilog/VHDL, FPGAs)
Writing technical documentation and report
